Enforced changes to u21 panel - August 1, 2000

Ireland u21 manager Don Givens has been forced into two changes to his squad for a forth-coming training camp at Bisham Abbey.

Celtic's Liam Miller and Blackburn Rovers striker Ben Burgess have been called up to replace Dave Billington and Richard Sadlier.

Sadlier broke his arm in training and will miss the start of the season with Millwall while Sheffield Wednesday's Billington is also on the injured list.

The get-together is expected to provide an formation for Ireland's opening UEFA U-21 qualifer against Holland at Stadium de Goffert in Njimegan on Friday, September 1 (6.00pm GMT).

Givens' squad will assemble at Bisham Abbey on Sunday, August 13, and face an Arsenal select at the Gunners' London Colney training ground on Monday, August 14.
