Butler names squad to face Welsh Schools - January 25, 2000
Irish u15 manager Vinnie Butler has named an 18-man squad which will face the Welsh equivalent at Frank Cooke Park on February 3.
Ireland look to have a strong hand at this level after some very encouraging results before Christmas. They played Holland twice, drawing both games even though they should have won. They put this behind them and scored back-to-back wins against Denmark.
Ireland squad: Paul Michael Murphy (Seatown, Dundalk), James Lee Matthews (St. Joseph's Boys), Eddie Keyes (Belvedere), Derek Tyrrell (Belvedere), Patrick Flynn (St. Joseph's Boys), Andrew Cousins (Belvedere), William Flood (Man City), Richard Ryan (Belvedere), Rory Hutton (Peterborough United), Paul Murphy (All Blacks, Wexford), Stephen Quigley (Lourdes Celtic), Barry Thornton (Cherry Orchard), David Cassidy (Home Farm), Gary Mulligan (Belvedere), Alan O'Brien (St. Joseph's Boys), Luke Byrne (Knock United, Mayo), Alan Cosgrove (Stella Maris), Kevin O'Connor (St. Joseph's Boys).
