Ireland let it slip again - November 9, 2000 Ireland u15 1 Holland u15 1 It was deja vu all over again as Ireland let slip a 1-0 lead against the Dutch for the second day in succession at Sundrive Road yesterday! Both teams had their chances in a scoreless first half - Sardar and Slagter hitting woodwork for the Dutch and Richard Ryan doing likewise for the Irish. But within ten minutes of the restart, Vinny Butler's team took the lead. The Dutch failed to deal with Andy O'Brien's corner and skipper Derek Tyrell blazed home from point-blank range. But unlike on Tuesday, when the Irish held on until the dying minutes, this time the Dutch go back on equal terms almost immediately. Substitute goalkeeper James Hussey parried Van Der Driessbhe's shot, but Sabayo was on hand to steer home the rebound. Six minutes later, Hussey came to Ireland's rescue, saving superbly from Sabayo.
