Butler's kids face Denmark - November 21, 2000

Vinny Butler's u15 team play Denmark tonight at Whitehall in the first of two internationals against the same opposition.

Butler has his full 21 players fit for the double header against the Danes with the second game taking place on Thursday at the AUL.

Ireland come into today's game on the back of two creditable draws against Holland in Dublin. With a bit of luck the Irish could have won both games, as they led until late on in both, but the Dutch on both occasions saved themselves from defeat.

The Irish manager expects a tough test for Denmark. He said: "They have a good record at underage level. Out u16s have had two hard games with them but we are in good shape with all 21 players fit for action."

Ireland: Barry Thornton, Stephen Tucker (Cherry Orchard), David Cassidy (Home Farm), James Lee Matthews, Patrick Flynn, Alan O'Brien, Kevin O'Connor (St. Joseph's Boys), Derek Tyrell, Eddie Keyes, Richard Ryan, Andrew Cousins (Belvedere), Stephen Quigley (Lourdes Celtic), Alan Cosgrave, Christopher Deans (Stella Maris), Stephen Hogan (Malahide Utd), Paul Murphy (All Blacks, Wexford), Joseph Regan (Castleisland), Paul M Murphy (Seatown), JJ Hartigan (Fairview Rangers), William Flood (Man City), Rory Hutton(Peterborough).
