Saints claim Shels are sinners - November 28, 2000
St. Patrick's Athletic have lodged a protest with the Eircom League over the alleged treatment of one of their officials at Friday night's Dublin derby match against Shelbourne.
The Saints claim their president, Tim O'Flaherty, was "manhandled" by Shels staff in the reception area at Tolka Park - and they have reported the matter to the police.
O'Flaherty was said to be "visibly shaken" after the incident.
Shelbourne have not commented officially - but an unofficial source said the matter had been "blown out of all proportion".
