Shels striker signs for Colchester - November 24, 2000
Shelbourne have accepted an offer for Gary Haylock from Colchester United after the player spent the past two weeks on loan at the English club.
Haylock started the season with Shels but then was loaned out up North. He decided to try his luck in England and got a trial with Colchester. After two weeks at the club he has done enough to impress manager Steve Whitton and has been rewarded with the offer of a contract.
Whitton said: "Gary has come over and done well again and now I want to see if we can work out something for him. I've agreed a fee with his club, but now I've got to speak to the player himself."
