Shels aim for Derry dozen - January 23, 2001

Shelbourne v Derry City 19:45

Shelbourne can take another step towards burning off the chasing pack when they entertain Derry City at Tolka Park tonight - prize for a win: an even dozen points between the Reds and nearest rivals Bohemians.

And with that kind of cushion at stake, manager Dermot Keely isn't even thinking about resting some of his star players, although games are now coming thick and fast.

He is set to start the same eleven who were lucky to get out of Turners Cross with a draw on Sunday - and he says: "Squad rotation isn't an option for me. It could backfire if we considered it."

Derry have their tails up after a 2-0 win over Shamrock Rovers at the weekend. Peter Hutton, whose move from the back four to midfield inspired that win, should retain his place in the middle.
