Kelly for Carr is only change - March 13,
2001
Mick McCarthy has just announced his 22-man squad for the World Cup games against Cyprus and Andorra this month - and the return of Leeds United's Gary Kelly is the only change from the squad chosen for the aborted Danish friendly.
Kelly comes in in a straight swap for Tottenham's Steve Carr, who is recovering from a hernia operation.
Mark Kinsella, Jason McAteer and Dean Kiely, who would have missed the Denmark mark because of injury, are fit again and are included in the panel.
As expected, McCarthy has included Sunderland's Niall Quinn, even though the 82-cap striker is due to meet a specialist today for further tests on a back injury.
The Republic meets Cyprus in Larnaca on March 24 and Andorra four days later in Barcelona's Little Nou Camp.
