Shamrock Rovers manager Damien Richardson is set for a 'make your mind up' meeting with truant star Jason Sherlock.

Rovers still hold the Gaelic football star's registration and, indeed, Jayo is still contracted to the Hoops.

The contract was suspended last season when Sherlock decided to commit himself fully to his GAA club, Na Fianna, and to the Dublin county team.

Now Dublin are out of this year's championship - and Richardson wants to know what's going on in Sherlock's mind.

"The commitment levels to Dublin, Na Fianna and Shamrock Rovers are intense," Richardson said. "Not many would be capable of applying themselves to both sports.

"I want to hold preliminary discussion with Jason, simply to find out his level of commitment.

"I know it's hard for him to serve two masters - but we need a professional arrangement at some stage."
