Dublin derby with a difference - September 1, 2000 Tonight's Dublin derby at Richmond Park between St. Patrick's Athletic and Shelbourne has a weird feeling to it. Both teams are struggling to kick-start their seasons as both languish in the bottom half of the Premier table and tonight both managers will be hoping that their teams come back to form. Dermot Keely postponed a fact-finding trip to Norway to be with his team. Shelbourne have lost two home league matches out of two and had a narrow win on the road in their other match. The loss to Finn Harps at Tolka last weekend was a major shock for Keely so he decided to cancel his trip to Rosenborg. Keely has Gary Haylock, Jim Crawford and Mark Hutchinson returning for injury but Stephen Geoghegan is still out with a stomach pull. Changes are expected to the team tonight but it remains to be seen how sweeping they will be. Pat's are searching for an elusive first win. They will give Robbie McGuinness and Michael Holt late fitness tests. They are confident that McGuinness will make the game but they are less sure about Holt, who is suffering with an Achilles injury. |
