Eircom League star Eric Lavine has got a busy football schedule over the next couple of days.

The Galway United ace will fly over 6,000 miles this week - all in the name of football. First, he travels to Boston to play for Barbados in their World Cup Campaign against the United States tonight.

Then, the striker will catch the flight back to Ireland to be ready for action for Galway United's clash with Bohemians at Dalymount Park on Friday night.

Lavine's playing has been red hot this year, starting his season with a four-goal burst against Finn Harps at the weekend.
