Hardy to miss a month - August 25, 2000

Wrexham full back and assistant coach Phil Hardy will miss another month of first-team football despite reports saying that he could be back within a week.

The 27-year-old Irish 'B' international, who had his knee washed out over the summer, suffered as setback in the reserves and will now miss a lot more time than was first expected.

"He came on during the reserve game at Wigan here last week and got more reaction to his knee. It's getting him down a bit because Phil wants to be involved and playing," said manager Brian Flynn.
