Win or bust for Harps - January 26, 2001

Galway United v Finn Harps, Terryland 19:45

Finn Harps will be hoping some of Bray's magic formula will rub off on them when Alan Dodd makes his debut for the Donegal side tonight against Galway United.

Caretaker boss Jonathan Speak, who may decide to play himself up front from the start, will give his latest recruit - signed from the Seasiders - at least part of the game as he attempts to halt a seven-game losing streak.

Harps won the last meeting between the sides back in November - and haven't won since. And they will try to forget their previous trip to Terryland at the start of the season when Eric Lavine bagged four in a 5-2 rout.

Stephen Grant is Galway's only injury and they should line-out as last week, when they beat UCD to haul themselves out of relegation worries.

Harps wish they were in the same boat. If they lose tonight and UCD get something out of the relegation six-pointer against Kilkenny on Sunday, the Donegal side can forget about even making the third-from-bottom play-off place.
