Foley set for Galway return - December 1, 2000
St. Patrick's Athletic v Galway United, 19:45
Kieran Foley is set to return for Galway United tonight at the Stadium of Light after his latest injury nightmare.
Foley missed the start of the season after a potentially fatal road accident in Greece during the summer, which left him with a broken hip a broken shoulder and serious head injuries.
He returned for a run of six games in September, but then suffered a recurrence of the shoulder injury and has missed the last seven games.
Now he's back and raring to go-and claims he's fitter than he has ever been before.
But Galway, who managed to escape the relegation zone at the expense of UCD during the week, will be without Tom Silke.
St. Pat's have doubts about Paul Osam and joint top-scorer Ger McCarthy- the latest National League striker to attract the attentions of scouts from top cross-Channel clubs.
