Irish underage international Tony Folan returned to the Brentford starting line-up for the reserved team against Cambridge during the week which will come as good news for manager Ron Noades, who rates the winger very highly.

Folan missed most of last season with a broken foot and it was feared that he had suffered a recurrence of the injury when he was carried off to hospital after a reserve game against Bristol Rovers earlier in the month.

Thankfully, the injury was not as bad as first expected and he is now ready for selection for Brentford's trip to Oxford at the weekend.
