Super Cup kicks off tonight - June 30, 2000
The Eircom League's initiative to get their four top teams fighting fit for their challenge on Europe starts tonight but have they got it wrong! Bohemians travel to Turner's Cross to take on Cork City and UCD host Shelbourne at Belfield with both games kicking off at 19:30 BST.

UCD out of InterToto on away goals - June 26, 2000
Velbazhd 0 UCD 0 (AGG 3-3 - Velbazhd qualify on away goals)
UCD showed their fighting spirit in Kyustendil against Velbazhd yesterday (Sunday, June 25) as they held the Bulgarians to a somewhat surprising 0-0 draw. The draw however was not enough for the Students and they crashed out of the InterToto Cup on the away-goal rule after conceding three goals at Belfield last weekend.

Macedonian mission for Shelbourne
Eircom League champions Shelbourne have been handed a Champions League qualifying first round tie in the graveyard of Ireland's Euro 2000 hopes! Shels will play Macedonian outfit FC Sloga Jugomagnat in Skopje on Wednesday, July 12, 2000 at the Chair Stadium with the return a week later at Tolka. The ties could reversed at a later date.

Champions meet in first round of League - June 23, 2000
The opening series of games in the Eircom League this season has thrown together last year's champions of the Premier League and the champions of the First Division. Shelbourne and Bray Wanderers meet at Tolka Park at 19:45 BST on Friday, August 11.
