Bray want to get back to winning ways - February 23,
2001
Bray Wanderers v Galway United 19:45
Bray Wanderers, shocked by Cork City last week, need to get back to wining ways at the Carlisle Grounds if they are to maintain their challenge for a place in Europe.
Opponents Galway are bang on form, with two wins and two draws from their last four outings. And the Tribesmen have already done Bray at the Carlisle once this season, back in September.
But the visitors must play without suspended top scorer Eric Lavine - choosing from Ollie Keogh, Sean Malee, David Goldbey and Barry Moran for the lone striker's slot in their 4-5-1. Mind you, Lavine raced to a nine-goal total by early November - and hasn't scored since!
For their part, Bray have Keith Long, Dave Williamson and Colm Tresson on the injured list - though the later should play - and Wesley Charles is suspended.
But Eddie Gormley has done his porridge and is available again.
