Bray can go third with win over Longford - January 12, 2001
Bray Wanderers v Longford Town 19:45
With recent wins over championship contenders Shelbourne and Bohemians already in the bag, Bray can claim another top-five scalp tonight against Longford.
Shamrock Rovers may be the only top-five team fourth-placed Bray have failed to beat this season but the Seasiders won't mind that if they beat Longford, as a win would see them leapfrog the Hoops into third place.
It's a big night for Enda Kenny and Philip Keogh, who are both set to clock up a century of National League appearances. Maurice Farrell is available again after suspension.
Longford's title challenge has faltered over the Christmas period and they need to get back on track. But the Carlisle Grounds won't be an easy place to do it - especially with defenders Eric Smith, Alan Murphy and long-term victim Paul Perth all still out injured.
Some of Longford's players were in action against Kilkenny City in the Leinster Senior Cup the other night - and they face a third game in five days when they take on Cork City in the FAI Cup second-round replay at Turners Cross on Sunday.
