Collins and Richardson fined - August 24, 2000

Bohemians boss Roddy Collins and Shamrock Rovers boss Damien Richardson have been fined £100 each by the League after they faced off against each other during a league encounter between the two clubs.

The two managers squared up to each other after the sending off of Marc Kenny and they have been severely warned by the Senior Clubs' Disciplinary Committee that any repeat of the action would be dealt with with less compassion.

Meanwhile, Bohs' efforts to get Trevor Molloy's two-match ban lifted have failed. Bohs lodged an appeal at the start of the campaign so that Molloy would be available to play in their opening games.

But now the striker will miss the club's trip to UCD at the weekend and the home game against Cork City the following week.

Elsewhere, there was another boss who came to the attention of the Disciplinary Committee. Dundalk's Martin Murray was warned about his future conduct and fined £100 for incidents at a recent Limerick-Dundalk game at Hogan Park.
