Crowe on target again - November 18, 2000

Bohemians 2 UCD 0

The League's top scorer, Glen Crowe, found his shooting boots again after a short barren spell to earn Bohemians revenge for Tuesday's League Cup defeat at the hands of UCD.

Crowe claimed a striker's luck to open the scoring after 17 minutes, taking advantage of a Clive Delaney error and a Barry Ryan slip to notch goal No. 20 for the season.

But it took athletic saves by Wayne Russell either side of half time, from Aidan Lynch and Kevin Grogan, to maintain Bohemians' advantage.

But Trevor Molloy wrapped up the points on the hour mark, shooting home from the penalty spot after Barry Ryan was harshly adjudged by substitute referee Ian Stokes to have upended Glen Crowe.

The result could have been more emphatic, but Crowe and Molloy both missed sitters in the closing minutes.
