History created by Bohs- September 22, 2000 Kaiserslautern 0 Bohemians 1 Bohemians were last night left ruing the sending off of Trevor Molloy in the first leg of their Eufa Cup tie with Kaiserslautern as the Dubs travelled to Germany and beat their opponents 1-0. Bohs were well in the first leg at Tolka Park until Molloy got his marching orders just before half time. The Germans found more room in the second half and finally won the game 3-1 to all but kill the tie as a competition. But the Bohs players didn't share that pessimistic view and they travelled to Germany last night and took the game to their more illustrious opponents. The tactic paid off as they scored a deserved win thanks to a goal from Glen Crowe in the first half. Crowe scored in the last minute of the first leg to give Bohs an outside chance and when he pounced in the 36th minute last night Roddy Collins side could see some light at the end of the tunnel. The goal was a well-crafted one. Darren O'Keeffe robbed the ball in midfield before spraying a cross-field ball to David Williamson. Williamson lobbed the ball over Strasser's head and rounded the man to take control again before laying it into the path of Crowe. The ex-Wolves striker was in acres of space in front of goal and had the easy task of knocking the ball into the net from six yards. Crowe had the ball in the net again in the 74th minute and it looked as if Bohs had an outside chance of progressing - but to the dismay of every Irishman in the ground the goal was disallowed for offside.
