Collins sent off as Bohs flop - December 4, 2000

Bohemians 1 Derry City 1

Bohs manager Roddy Collins was in trouble again yesterday as his side slumped to another draw.

The outspoken Gypsies boss fell foul of World Cup official Eddie Foley and got his marching orders from referee Aidan O'Regan with only seconds left in the game.

It's difficult to see why Collins got excited, because nobody else did! Bohs looked good in the opening quarter and went ahead through Darren O'Keeffe after 14 mins. Trevor Molloy's backheel sent Simon Webb away and his cross was nodded down by Glen Crowe into the path of O'Keeffe.

But once Eamonn Doherty latched on to Gary Beckett's flick to score a 45th-minute equaliser, Derry always looked as if they could hold out for a draw without too much discomfort.
