Bohs announce new deal - August 22, 2000 Bohemians today announced a sponsorship deal with Adecco Ireland, part of the world's largest recruitment group. The deal is for the current season and is believed to be worth £50,000. Richard McMillan, Adecco Ireland's general manager, said he hoped the initial deal would lead to a long-term partnership. The red-and-white Adecco logo will already be familiar to soccer fans - the company were official staff suppliers to the Euro 2000 finals in Belgium and Holland and they advertise pitchside at all the leading Premiership and Nationwide stadia. McMillan said: "We are delighted to sponsor Bohemians in what we hope will be a great year for the club. They have already begun their UEFA Cup challenge with a great win in Aberdeen and we hope the return leg, this Thursday, will see a similar result." Bob Breen of Bohemians said: "We are delighted that a company of Adecco's calibre will be working alongside us to develop a more professional Bohemians Football Club." Meanwhile, defender Shaun Maher is Bohs' main worry ahead of that return leg against Aberdeen. He has a back problem and his chances of passing a fitness test this afternoon are rated at "fifty-fifty" according to the club. But Trevor Molloy, who limped out of the Gypsies' 5-0 win over Galway United at the weekend, is expected to be fit to face the Dons.
