Scotsmen needed to make all systems Boh - August 1, 2000

As Bohamians prepare to tackle Aberdeen in Europe next week, manager Roddy Collins has got a problem. He is in desperate need for players.

The Dublin side have just 14 registered players as they embark on the first qualifier. With this looming over him, Collins has been pleading for Scottish players to join the side for the games.

He's offering month loans to Premier League players to get the results he needs, stating that he's "desperate for a centre- half, a midfielder, and a striker".

"If they are any Scottish players not getting a game with their clubs, they should contact me at Dalymount Park", he added.

Collins has got until Thursday to register his team in time for their game with Aberdeen on August 10.

But he's not they only one with player worries. Aberdeen boss Ebbe Skovdahl is also looking at the unwanted prospect of player absence.

As well as his side being struck with injuries, no new players have come into the team this summer because of low income.

Moreover, one of Aberdeen's top stars Eoin Jess is one of 14 players to go out of contract next year.
