Ireland's Alan Maybury has returned to Leeds United after a month's loan at Crewe Alexander but as to how long he will be at Elland Road is anybody's guess.

Alan said: "There is interest from a couple of clubs. The injury I had (a broken leg towards the end of last season) didn't worry me at all during my games with Crewe. The more games I play the better."

Maybury's loan spell was very successful and now he thinks that it might be time to move on from Leeds for good.

Crewe manager Dario Gradi tried to keep the full-back for another month but David O'Leary is in the middle of an injury crisis so he decided he needed Maybury to return.
