Lee wanted for another month - October 19, 2000 Rotherham boss Ronnie Moore has been so impressed by the form of on-loan striker Alan Lee that he has asked Burnley for another month's extension. Rotherham's form has improved considerably since the Galway-born striker joined and it is thought the Moore is close to offering him a full-time contract with the club. But first he wants another month to make up his mind and has asked Burnley to allow the player to stay for that time. If Moore decides to sign Lee, he will have to break Rotherham's transfer fee record to secure his services - but it could be well worth it if the player is making the team a better unit. |
